You will also participate in defining, monitoring, managing consulting projects and forecasting consulting revenue & resources in Asia. You will be working in a management capacity within cross regional / multi-disciplinary teams to leverage your leadership skills to deliver business impact.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Take full ownership and control the activities of Ansys Asia Customer Project Management Office (PMO) to drive significant business impact.
Lead and participate in the designing / implementation / improvement of processes/practices/tools for the Asia regional consulting project management.
Partner with Sales and other Ansys Customer Excellence stakeholders to develop strategic plans and objectives for growing Ansys Asia revenue driven by services engagements.
Partner with area sales directors and other Ansys Customer Excellence stakeholders to review opportunities, forecast, prioritize engineering resources, develop ideas, and support execution of business maintenance and growth initiatives.
Engage on services opportunities and project qualification including work and labor estimation, resourcing, profitability, risk assessment, outcomes, etc., in partnership with Sales and other Ansys Customer Excellence stakeholders.
Ensure services are delivered on time, on budget, with compliance, with high quality and customer satisfaction.
Ensure services related data are captured and reported to relevant stakeholders accurately for business decisions.
Lead and participate in the development and mentoring of team members, including, but not limited to, providing the team with effective guidance to support key goals, recruiting top talent, establishing cross product / sub-region collaboration, and professional growth.
Develop methods to improve operations continuously and lead the effective implementation of resulting changes within the team.
Participate in designing and implementing Ansys customer services portfolio in Asia.
Help guide complex customer engagements to successful outcomes using subject matter expertise and industry knowledge.
Collaborate with the Ansys product development leadership team to guide Ansys product roadmap.
Conduct annual performance review for team members.
Lead and contribute to Ansys corporate initiatives.
Contribute to merger and acquisition integration of customer-facing technical teams and processes and go to market strategy.
Practice and promote One Ansys culture.
Minimum Education/Certification Requirements and Experience
Required education and degree type: BS or MS or PhD in Engineering or related field.
Required minimum years of professional experience in an engineering software environment: BS+12, MS+9, or PhD+7.
Proven leadership experience in an engineering software or industry environment
Strong organizational, leadership and mentoring skills; ability to lead complex organizations. Ability to coordinate with colleagues across geographically diverse locations.
Expert level knowledge of project and change management, methodologies, techniques, processes (e.g., Project and Portfolio Management Methodology).
Budget, cost, risk, and profitability management skills.
Flexible, adaptable, and resourceful when managing changing timelines and multiple deliverables.
Demonstrated leadership ability to establish and manage high performance software professional services and project management teams.
Motivated to build relationships at executive levels with technology, solutions, customers, and vendor groups.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, logical problem-solving, fluent in writing and speaking English.

Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
