Interior Designer

Role & responsibilities

1. Design Development: Spearhead the creative process, developing innovative design concepts that meet client specifications and preferences. Utilise various design methodologies and principles to achieve aesthetic and functional spaces.

2. Client Interaction and Lead Conversion: Act as the first point of contact for potential clients. Understand their requirements, present design ideas, and effectively communicate how our services can meet their needs.

3. Design Presentation: Prepare comprehensive design proposals including sketches, mood boards, digital renderings, and detailed plans to effectively communicate design ideas to clients.

4. Material and Finish Selection: Select and specify materials, finishes, and furnishings that align with the design concept, budget, and functionality requirements.

5. Technical Documentation: Produce detailed working drawings and specifications for construction and installations. Ensure all designs comply with current regulations and quality standards.

6. Project Oversight: Monitor the project execution to ensure adherence to the design intent. Work closely with contractors and suppliers to maintain design integrity throughout the project lifecycle.

7. Client Interaction: Engage with clients to refine design concepts based on their feedback and ensure their vision is fully realised in the final product.

8. Portfolio Management: Curate a portfolio of completed projects showcasing design expertise and creativity to assist in business development and marketing efforts.

Preferred candidate profile

1. Bachelors degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.

2. At least 3 years of experience in interior design, with a proven track record of converting leads into successful projects.

3. Expertise in design software like AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Revit.
