Interior Draughtsman

Role & responsibilities

1. Drafting Detailed Drawings: Create detailed interior design plans, elevations, sections, and detailed drawings as per project requirements.

2. Collaborating with Design Team: Work closely with interior designers and architects to develop design concepts and translate them into workable construction details.

3. Modifying Existing Drawings: Revise and update existing drawings based on feedback from the design team or clients to meet specific standards and requirements.

4. Material Specification: Assist in the selection of materials, finishes, and furnishings, ensuring compatibility with design goals and project budgets.

5. Site Visits: Conduct site visits, when necessary, to gather measurements and other pertinent data to create accurate drawings.

6. Document Management: Maintain records of drawings, specifications, and other project documentation to ensure consistency and accessibility.

7. Compliance Checks: Ensure all designs comply with the legal requirements and health and safety standards applicable to interior spaces.

8. Feedback Implementation: Implement changes and improvements to designs based on feedback from clients and other stakeholders.
