Ash Handling Process Incharge: Operation, Maintenance and Project Expo

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operations Management Monitor and oversee the operation of ash handling systems, including fly ash and bottom ash systems. Ensure compliance with operational protocols to achieve continuous and efficient ash removal and disposal. Analyze process data and troubleshoot operational issues to minimize unplanned outages. Coordinate with the control room and field operators for system performance optimization.

2. Maintenance Management Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance schedules for ash handling equipment, including conveyors, silos, ash slurry pumps, and hoppers. Diagnose and rectify mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults in ash handling systems. Manage spare parts inventory to ensure the availability of critical components. Maintain records of maintenance activities, ensuring proper documentation and reporting.

3. Project Exposure Participate in the design, installation, and commissioning of new ash handling systems or equipment upgrades. Collaborate with engineering teams and contractors to execute projects within budget and timeline. Conduct feasibility studies and provide inputs for process improvements and system modifications. Ensure compliance with quality standards and safety norms during project execution.

4. Compliance and Safety Ensure ash handling operations adhere to environmental regulations and emission standards. Implement safety measures to minimize risks during operations and maintenance activities. Train team members on safety protocols, emergency procedures, and equipment handling.

5. Team Coordination and Reporting Supervise and guide a team of operators and technicians in daily operations and maintenance tasks. Prepare and present reports on system performance, downtime analysis, and project progress to management. Collaborate with other departments to address cross-functional issues and improve plant efficiency. Qualifications: Education: Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial Engineering or equivalent.

Experience: 5+ years in ash handling system operations and maintenance, preferably in a thermal power plant or similar industry.

Hands-on experience in project execution and equipment commissioning is an advantage. Technical Skills: Knowledge of ash handling systems (wet/dry).

Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems. Familiarity with maintenance management systems and tools.
