Business Development Head - Solar Business (Nigeria)

Key Responsibilities

• Lead business development efforts in the solar energy sector, including project computation and tendering processes.
• Preparing Techno-Commercial Proposals and Competition Mapping
• Examining Regulatory and Energy Policies to Develop Comprehensive Business Plans
• Formulating a Business Case to Determine Project Viability through Client Analysis and Project Evaluation
• Identify and evaluate project opportunities, conducting comprehensive computations to ensure viability and profitability.
• Manage the tendering process from start to finish, including preparing and submitting bids, negotiating contracts, and securing project awards.
• Cultivate strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, such as government agencies, utilities, and suppliers, to enhance competitiveness in tendering processes.

Preferred candidate profile

• Proven track record in business development and commercial activities within Solar energy /Renewable sector . Africa Experience is preferred.
• BE/B.Tech with MBA from Tier 1 / 2 management institutes would be preferred
