AWS Cloud Engineer/Lead/Architect

Location : Bengaluru/Coimbatore/Mysore Fulltime

Job Description :

Role & responsibilities :

- Work with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to assess applications, software and hardware.

- Develop, coordinate and administrate AWS infrastructure.

- Automate deployments, infrastructure as code.

- Have containerization, troubleshooting and support tasks.

- Manage and monitor Cloud infrastructure, AWS elastic bean stack resources , including EC2 instances, S3 storage, VPCs, and other AWS services.

- Implement and optimize infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as AWS CloudFormation or Terraform.

- Deploy and manage applications on AWS, ensuring seamless operation and high availability.

- Implement best practices for containerization and orchestration using AWS services like ECS or EKS.

- Implement and maintain monitoring solutions for cloud-based applications and infrastructure.

- Proactively identify and address performance bottlenecks and issues to ensure optimal cloud performance.

- Respond to and resolve incidents related to cloud infrastructure and applications.

- Collaborate with development and IT teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.

- Implement and enforce security best practices for AWS resources.

- Ensure compliance with security policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

- Develop and maintain automation scripts to streamline cloud operations tasks.

- Monitor and optimize AWS resource utilization to manage costs effectively.

- Implement cost-saving measures without compromising performance or security.

- Collaborate with development teams, system administrators, and other IT teams to address cross-functional cloud-related issues

Qualifications :

- 6+ years of experience in cloud operations, with a focus on AWS.

- Skilled in AWS service, Lambda, and serverless, event-driven architecture.

- Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as AWS CloudFormation or Terraform.

- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, or EKS.

- Knowledge of security best practices for cloud environments.

- Strong scripting and automation skills (Python, Bash, etc.).

- AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, or relevant industry certifications are a plus.
