Job Description :

As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing automated workflows, cloud infrastructure, and CI/CD pipelines. Your expertise in AWS Step Functions and GitHub Actions will play a critical role in streamlining our development, testing, and deployment processes, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.

Key Responsibilities :

- AWS Step Functions : Design and implement serverless workflows using AWS Step Functions to orchestrate multiple AWS services (Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, etc.), enabling efficient automation and orchestration of cloud resources.

- CI/CD Pipeline Management : Build, optimize, and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, enabling continuous integration and delivery for software applications and services.

- Cloud Infrastructure Automation : Implement infrastructure-as-code (IaC) solutions using Terraform, AWS Cloud Formation, or Ansible to automate cloud resource provisioning, configuration, and management.

- Containerization & Orchestration : Deploy, manage, and optimize containerized applications using Docker and Amazon EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service), ensuring scalability and fault tolerance.

- Monitoring & Logging : Implement and manage monitoring and logging solutions using AWS CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, and other monitoring tools to ensure application performance, security, and uptime.

- Collaboration : Work closely with development, security, and operations teams to define and implement DevOps best practices, security controls, and continuous improvement initiatives.

- Security : Ensure the security of cloud infrastructure by implementing appropriate IAM roles and policies, securing access to resources, and enforcing compliance with industry standards.

- Troubleshooting & Performance Optimization : Identify and resolve issues related to deployment failures, scaling, and performance bottlenecks, optimizing the entire DevOps pipeline for efficiency and reliability.

Requirements :

- 7+ years of experience in DevOps engineering, with a strong focus on cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and automation.

- Hands-on experience with AWS Step Functions for orchestrating serverless workflows and integrating AWS services.

- Expertise in creating and managing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or similar tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.

- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, EKS, CloudFormation) and familiarity with Azure.

- Proven experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration tools like Kubernetes (EKS), Helm.

- Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or similar tools.

- Strong experience with version control systems such as Git and GitHub.

- Proficient in Linux/Unix systems administration and scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Shell.

- Experience in monitoring, logging, and alerting tools like AWS CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.

- Familiarity with database management and optimization (RDS, DynamoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL).

- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure issues.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in Agile development teams.

Preferred Qualifications :

- AWS certifications (AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional, AWS Certified Solutions Architect).

- Experience with Azure DevOps or other similar platforms.

- Familiarity with security best practices and tools such as IAM, KMS, VPC Security.
