Job Summary:

We seek an experienced SAP Project Manager to lead and manage SAP projects, including ECC upgrades, rollouts, AMS projects, S/4HANA implementations, and support engagements. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in SAP solutions and people management and account management skills, ensuring project delivery excellence, stakeholder engagement, and team leadership.

Role & responsibilities

Project Management & Delivery:

• Lead end-to-end SAP ECC and S/4HANA projects, including upgrades, rollouts, implementations, and support initiatives.
• Manage Application Management Services (AMS) projects, ensuring SLAs and business continuity.
• Define project scope, objectives, timelines, deliverables, and budgets in alignment with business goals.
• Implement and oversee project governance, risk management, and issue resolution processes.
• Ensure compliance with SAP best practices and industry standards.

Technical Expertise & Solution Delivery:

• Drive ECC to S/4HANA migration strategies and SAP landscape transformations.
• Manage functional and technical teams across different SAP modules (FI/CO, SD, MM, PP, etc.).
• Collaborate with SAP consultants, developers, and business analysts to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Ensure integration between SAP and third-party applications.

People & Stakeholder Management:

• Lead and mentor SAP consultants, functional analysts, and support teams.
• Manage stakeholder expectations, acting as a bridge between business users and technical teams.
• Drive team performance and foster a collaborative project environment.

Account & Client Management:

• Act as the primary contact for business stakeholders, vendors, and SAP partners.
• Manage client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and long-term engagement.
• Support pre-sales activities, proposal development, and business growth initiatives.

Preferred candidate profile

Qualifications & Experience:

Must-Have:

• 10+ years of SAP project management experience, leading ECC and S/4HANA projects.
• Proven track record in SAP ECC upgrades, ECC rollouts, and AMS projects.
• Strong experience in SAP S/4HANA implementation and support.
• Hands-on expertise in SAP project lifecycle methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
• People management experience, handling cross-functional teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Budgeting, resource planning, and risk management experience.

Preferred:

• SAP certification (SAP Activate, PMP, ITIL, etc.) is a plus.
• Industry experience in manufacturing, retail, healthcare, or financial services.
• Experience managing global SAP deployments with offshore/onsite models.
