Head Residue Lab

Laboratory is currently looking for a senior scientist to head its Residue & Chromatography Lab.The Residue & Chromatography Lab at AES is involved in analyzing samples of various products receievd at the laboratory, that require mass spectorpmetric and chromatographic analysis .The scope of the work of the laboratory includes sample preparation as well as imstrumental analysis.Currently the lab is equipped with instruments like LCMSMS, GCMSMS, HPLCs, GCs with various detectors, GC-Headspace etc

• Lead and oversee all activities within the residue analysis laboratory, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards (GLP, EPA, EU, FDA).
• Develop and implement laboratory protocols for pesticide residue, contaminants, and other chemical analyses in food, water, and environmental samples.
• Manage and optimize laboratory workflows, instrumentation (LC-MS/MS, GC-MS), and quality assurance programs.
• Supervise, mentor, and train lab personnel, ensuring high performance and adherence to safety protocols.
• Collaborate with R&D, regulatory agencies, and industry stakeholders to align testing methodologies with global compliance requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, technology upgrades, and validation of new analytical methods.
• Prepare and review technical reports, study plans, and regulatory submissions.
• Ensure timely delivery of accurate analytical results to support product safety, compliance, and innovation.
