Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced International Freight Forwarding Executive to manage and coordinate the movement of goods and shipments across international borders. This role requires a deep understanding of global shipping logistics, customs regulations, and effective communication with clients, carriers, and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to navigate complex logistics processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Freight Management: Coordinate and manage the international transportation of goods, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery via air, sea, rail, or road.
• Customs Compliance: Ensure that all shipments comply with international customs laws and regulations, including documentation requirements for import/export procedures.
• Shipment Tracking: Monitor and track shipments from origin to destination, providing updates and solving any issues or delays that may arise during the shipping process.
• Client Interaction: Communicate regularly with clients to understand their logistics needs, provide quotes, and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the shipping process.
• Carrier Negotiation: Build and maintain relationships with shipping carriers and freight partners, negotiate rates, and identify cost-saving opportunities for clients.
• Documentation: Prepare and ensure the accuracy of all necessary shipping documents (e.g., bills of lading, commercial invoices, packing lists) for international shipments.
• Problem Resolution: Address any issues related to transportation delays, damages, or claims and find appropriate solutions to meet clients' expectations.
• Market Analysis: Stay up to date with market trends, international shipping rates, and industry regulations to offer clients the best service.
• Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure that shipments meet both legal and regulatory requirements, minimizing risks associated with international transportation.
• Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all freight transactions and prepare regular reports on shipment status, costs, and any challenges.

Preferred Skills:

• Fluency in multiple languages is a plus.
• Certification or training in international logistics or supply chain management (e.g., IATA, FIATA).
• Knowledge of dangerous goods regulations and handling procedures.
• Familiarity with trade documentation and customs clearance procedures in multiple regions.
