Roles Responsibilities:

Execute and oversee the scheduled UAV maintenance activities in close collaboration with the Technical Team.

Be the point of contact when it comes to technical escalations of maintenance activity.

Carry out UAV maintenance work on the operations field based on the escalation levels.

Dismantling, Inspecting, testing, repairing, and reassembling of UAV

Testing communication, payload, other electronic instruments, and systems.

Replacing and or timely repairing of systems and components to ensure maximum uptime of the drone/UAV fleet.

Clearly communicate escalated issues to Team Leaders as needed.

Manage, report, and keep a log of all UAV maintenance activities and inquiries.

Maintaining up to date reports, logs and inventory and communicating the same to ensure timely availability of resources for maintenance work.

Provide a feedback loop to wider staff (technical team, production team, operations team) on resolved and in progress problems and incidents

Taking part in review of all UAV maintenance work related processes and documentation for continuous improvement.

Work closely with other technical branches of the organization for implementing changes and new methods to the operating fleet.

Good drone flying skills for small category Multicopter and Hybrid drones.

Familiar with Ardupilot, mission planner and parameter configuration

Flexible to work in an outdoor environment.

Being the first line of support and troubleshooting issues.

Awareness and understanding of the elements of the product structure of both the hybrid and multirotor UAS (unmanned aerial system)

Identify and decompose the product structure from master system, to subsystem, to component

Identify and specify interfaces between, and functions of, elements within the UAS

Conduct root cause analysis by following industry standard methods

Define issues and ideate towards their solutions

Able to multitask efficiently under time pressure.

Strong analytical skills to investigate and resolve the problem in time.

Previous experience in managing customer focused teams.

Good communicator, both oral (English and Hindi) and written (English only).
