Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

1. Working Capital Management:

• Efficiently manage the companys working capital to ensure smooth operations

and liquidity.

• Monitor cash flow and implement strategies to optimize inventory, receivables,

and payables.

• Develop and execute financial plans to maintain a healthy cash conversion

cycle.

2. Loan & Finance Management:

• Oversee all aspects of loan acquisition, management, and compliance with

financial institutions.

• Negotiate favorable terms for funding and ensure timely repayment schedules.
• Maintain robust relationships with banks and financial institutions.

3. Budgeting & Forecasting:

• Develop and oversee the annual budgeting process, aligning with business

objectives.

• Provide accurate financial forecasts and variance analysis to assist in strategic

decision-making.

• Continuously monitor budget adherence and recommend corrective actions as

needed.

4. Costing & Financial Analysis:

• Implement and oversee costing systems to analyze and control product costs.
• Evaluate cost-saving opportunities across the organization.
• Provide insights on profitability, pricing, and cost control to support

management.

5. Balance Sheet Management:

• Prepare and review the companys balance sheet, ensuring accuracy and

compliance with accounting standards.

• Monitor financial health indicators and suggest improvements to strengthen the

balance sheet.

• Oversee audits and ensure timely and accurate reporting.

6. Financial Improvements:

• Identify opportunities for financial efficiency and process improvements.
• Implement best practices to enhance financial reporting and analysis.
• Drive automation and digital transformation initiatives in financial operations.

7. Fund Utilization & Optimization:

• Ensure optimal utilization of funds to maximize ROI.
• Evaluate and prioritize capital expenditure projects to align with strategic goals.
• Provide recommendations for investment and growth opportunities.

8. Credit Rating Improvement:

• Develop strategies to enhance the companys credit rating by optimizing

financial health and reducing risk factors.

• Maintain strong relationships with credit agencies and ensure timely submission

of financial data.

9. Recovery Management:

• Oversee and implement effective strategies for receivables recovery.
• Minimize bad debts and ensure timely collection of dues.
• Collaborate with sales and legal teams to address overdue accounts.

10. Rate Negotiation:

• Lead negotiations to secure favorable interest rates and terms for loans and other

financial services.

• Optimize procurement costs through effective vendor and supplier negotiations.
• Ensure competitive pricing for all financial and operational contracts.

11. Leadership & Stakeholder Communication:

• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to achieve high performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives.
• Communicate financial insights and strategies effectively to stakeholders and

the board.

Preferred candidate profile

MBA - Finance with minimum 15+ years experience in top financial organisation.
