Senior Director - Enterprise Data Management

As Senior Director - Enterprise Data Management you will lead a Data Office and analytics team, driving key initiatives for business-critical areas. Collaborating with leaders across the organization, developing analytic roadmaps with a focus on delivering insights to accelerate growth and enable scalable solutions. You will oversee the design and execution of data products, dashboards, and simulation tools that empower stakeholders to make data-driven decisions independently.

Primary Responsibilities

• Manage India based Data office and analytic team (with support from the rest of the team) for a key functional area for the business, such as front office, mid office and Backoffice
• Consult with leaders across the Data office to help develop analytic roadmaps with particular emphasis on insights that accelerate growth across all aspects of the business
• Lead a manage technical Data office teams members and support various functional areas of the business, including mentorship and skills development
• Perform analyses that enable a wide range of stakeholders deepen their quantitative understanding of their business, with a particular emphasis on insights that accelerate growth and unlock scale
• Empower teams to build, develop dashboards, reporting, and other data products (such as simulation tools) that e self-service, data-driven decision making
• Work with our technology partners and data engineers to ensure high-quality, usable data are captured to support reliable business-facing analytics
• Build scalable methodology and tools to accelerate development of our data and analytics practice
• Lead initiatives to build data and analytics competencies across the entire organization with the support of the data, insights, and loyalty team

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in a data analytics or data science role, preferably working in a direct-to-consumer business
• Demonstrated ability to independently plan and execute repeatable analyses and recommend actionable strategy
• Ability to translate business strategies into multiple, interrelated projects and lead cross-organizational, cross-functional project
• Excellent communicator who easily bridges the gap between data and business owners
• Creative thinker, adept at understanding an wide breath of retail analytics use cases and identifying the data and analytics necessary to make them into a reality
• Builds and leverages networks across the organization to effectively lead change management initiatives
• Excellent SQL skills with experience in driving data driven insights and decisions from large datasets
• Experience in executive-level presentations
• Prior experience in people and team management of 10+ years highly desirable
• Demonstrated success working in a fast-paced, swiftly-changing startup environment
