PHE / Fire / HVAC Designer / Draftsman

We are seeking skilled PHE / Fire / HVAC Drafts people to join our MEP design team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed PHE / Fire / HVAC drawings and layouts using CAD and BIM software. They will work closely with engineers, designers, and project managers to ensure accurate and efficient design solutions for commercial, residential, and industrial projects.

HVAC:

• Develop detailed HVAC system drawings, including ductwork, piping, and equipment layouts, using AutoCAD, Revit, or other drafting software.
• Interpret architectural and engineering blueprints to create precise and accurate designs.
• Coordinate with MEP engineers, architects, and other disciplines to integrate HVAC designs with plumbing, electrical, and structural systems.
• Assist in load calculations, equipment selection, and design modifications as per project requirements.
• Maintain drawing documentation, version control, and compliance with industry standards (ASHRAE, SMACNA, etc.).
• Revise drawings based on client feedback, engineering markups, and site conditions.
• Perform clash detection and coordination in BIM models to avoid conflicts between MEP services.
• Support project teams by providing technical details and drafting assistance as needed

PHE / Fire:

• Develop detailed technical drawings and plans for PHE and fire protection using AutoCAD, Revit, or other drafting software.
• Prepare layouts for plumbing, drainage, rainwater harvesting, firefighting, and gas supply systems.
• Prepare layouts for fire sprinklers, fire hydrants, hose reels, and other fire suppression systems.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant local and international codes (e.g., NFPA, NBC, IPC).
• Create coordinated MEP drawings, integrating PHE/fire / HVAC services.
• Revise and update drawings based on client or regulatory feedback.
• Maintain accurate records of drawings and revisions for project documentation.

Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in PHE and fire protection drafting within an MEP design firm.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other drafting software.
• Understanding of HVAC, fire protection systems, plumbing, and public health engineering (PHE) concepts.
• Knowledge of relevant fire safety codes and standards (NFPA, NBC, IS codes, etc.).
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical/Civil Engineering or relevant discipline.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP (preferred), and Navisworks.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing and fire protection systems, including codes and standards.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Building Information Modelling (BIM) software.
• Familiarity with hydraulic calculations for fire suppression systems.
