Cybersecurity Lead / Manager

Role Summary:

As a Cybersecurity Lead/Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the organization's cybersecurity strategy, implementation, and governance. You will manage security initiatives, ensure compliance with industry standards, and lead a team to mitigate cyber risks effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Cybersecurity Strategy & Planning

Design and implement cybersecurity policies, procedures, and frameworks.

Develop long-term security strategies aligned with business objectives.

Threat Management & Incident Response

Monitor, analyze, and respond to cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities.

Lead incident response efforts, including containment, eradication, and recovery.

Network Security

Configure and manage Cisco security devices (e.g., firewalls, routers, and switches).

Conduct regular penetration tests, vulnerability assessments, and audits.

Compliance & Governance

Ensure compliance with regulations like GDPR, ISO 27001, or NIST.

Manage risk assessments and develop mitigation plans.

Team Leadership

Mentor and manage a team of security analysts and engineers.

Conduct training and awareness programs for employees on cybersecurity best practices.

Collaboration & Vendor Management

Coordinate with IT and business teams to secure infrastructure and applications.

Manage relationships with cybersecurity vendors and service providers.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Technical Expertise

Hands-on experience with Cisco security technologies (e.g., ASA/Firepower, ISE, Umbrella).

Strong understanding of network protocols, intrusion detection/prevention, and SIEM tools.

Experience

8-12 years of progressive experience in cybersecurity roles, including leadership positions.

Proven experience in incident management, forensic analysis, and security audits.

Certifications

Cisco certifications (e.g., CCNA Security, CCNP Security, or equivalent).

Additional certifications like CISSP, CISM, or CEH are a plus.

Soft Skills

Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.

Excellent communication skills for reporting and stakeholder management.
