The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving revenue and closing new opportunities for our business growth.
Responsibilities
Build a sales pipeline and meet the sales targets by closing sales deal independently for multiple solutions offered by Advent. Creating informative presentations; presenting and delivering information to potential clients at client meetings, industry exhibits, trade shows, and conferences Develop a strong knowledge of products and services offered by Advent in order to facilitate the sales process. Identify opportunities, Generate Leads and convert them to build relationships with new clients. Preparing reports and forecasts on a regular basis as directed by the management. Travel within India (50% -60% travel) for sales meetings and negotiations as and when needed. Run targeted sales & marketing campaigns for business development in co-ordination with marketing and get feedback from clients. Strengthen the companys direct sales and business development capabilities. Collaborating with management on sales goals, planning, and forecasting; maintaining short- and long-term business development plans
Desired Skills & Experience:
Graduate degree or higher in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Life Science, or related domains. Experience with computation tools for drug discovery and Bioinformatics is an added advantage. 3-5 years of experience in a similar role in the Life Science/ Informatics domain is desirable. Excellent communication skills, vocal and written, coupled with receptive listening skills and a positive and energetic phone presence. Proactive, Self-motivated with strong networking and management skills. Hands-on experience with CRM software is an added advantage but not mandatory. Skillful in preparing presentations to showcase the companys product portfolio.
