Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated Junior Business Development Engineer to join our dynamic team in Kochi. The ideal candidate will have 1 to 2 years of sales experience, excellent communication skills, and a background in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering. The role involves identifying business opportunities, building client relationships, and driving company growth in the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) industry.
Salary discussed during hiring is indicative. Offers are based on qualifications, experience, skills, and education, aligned with position requirements, internal factors, and market standards. Background check required post-conditional job offer, tailored to job requirements.
Responsibilities:
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in the AEC industry.
  • Assist in creating proposals, presentations, and sales pitches for prospective clients.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential clients and partners.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Prepare reports and documentation on sales activities, performance metrics, and client interactions.
  • Support senior business development engineers in meetings, negotiations, and closing deals.
  • Assist in preparing quotations and follow up with clients regarding project inquiries.
  • Represent the company at industry events, expos, and networking opportunities.
Qualification, Experience, and Skills Required:
  • Bachelor s degree in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in business development or sales in AEC industry.
    • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
  • Familiarity with the AEC industry and understanding of engineering services.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software is an advantage.
    • MBA will be considered a plus.
