Job Description
- Job roles and responsibilities
- Proficiency in configuring and managing Cisco switches and routers (Cisco IOS, Catalyst, Nexus).
- Hands-on experience with PaloAlto Firewalls, including configuration, management, and troubleshooting.
- Expertise in SonicWall Firewalls configuration, security features, and VPN solutions.
- Knowledge of network protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SNMP, BGP, Azure ExpressRoute and VLANs.
- Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., PRTG, OpManager).
- Familiarity with network security best practices, firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion prevention systems.
- Network Design and Implementation, Network Security Management, Monitoring and Troubleshooting, Documentation and Reporting, Collaboration and Support
- Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving abilities and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent verbal communication and the ability to convey information clearly and effectively.
- Excellent Task Management and Organizing skills.
- Exceptional Analytical & Decision-Making skills.
- Excellent delegator and mediator.
- Fantastic organizational and time management skills.
- Certifications (Preferred ):
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or higher.
- Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE).
- SonicWall Certified Security Administrator (SCSA).
