Software Engineer

Role & responsibilities :

• Develop Linux kernel drivers, Android HAL extensions, system API, applications for peripheral function
• Develop Windows on ARM bootloader, UEFI, peripheral driver and verification
• Design, develop and utilize tools, scripts, testing fixtures, automation for Windows on ARM and Linux
• Collaborate with chipset and software vendors and verify latest software release is working on the Advantech products
• Work with cross-functional hardware, software, and systems teams for the design of solutions for local KA project

Preferred candidate profile

• Experience in embedded operation system development, Yocto, Ubuntu, Android and Embedded Windows
• Experience in ARM architecture, bare-metal programming, bootloader, and firmware.
• Experience in drivers development (i.e. Linux/Android) for x86/RISC chipset (e.g., I2C, GPIO, Embedded controller, FPGA)
• 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
• Excellent communication and problem solving skills.
