Job Description
In this role, youll play a key part in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our Shared Services Center. Youll be responsible for a wide range of accounting tasks, providing support to various departments across the organization. What You Will Do What You Will Have What We Do For You
- Process financial transactions: This includes recording accounts payable and receivable transactions, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
- Prepare financial reports: Youll assist in generating accurate and insightful financial reports, such as general ledgers, balance sheets, and income statements.
- Reconcile accounts: Youll meticulously reconcile various accounts to ensure their accuracy and identify any discrepancies for further investigation.
- Close the books monthly and annually: Youll play a vital role in the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Maintain accounting records: Youll be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date accounting records in accordance with established accounting principles (GAAP).
- Collaborate with internal teams: Youll work closely with other departments within the Shared Services Center, as well as various business units, to ensure seamless financial operations.
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an accounting role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
- Experience with accounting software (a plus).
- Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong organizational skills and a commitment to accuracy.
