Job Description
The Employer Branding and Communications Specialist will be required to design and deploy effective employer branding focused integrated marketing communication and engagement campaigns for Advance Auto Parts.
Role and Responsibilities :
- Develop the integrated communications strategy for Advance Auto Parts in alignment with the global communications \team.
- Closely work with our partner network to ideate, design and implement employer branding communication and engagement campaigns, internally and externally, and public relations campaigns.
- Write, edit, and proofread content for branding and communication campaigns
- Manage media inquiries and arrange interviews, statements, etc.
- Identify brand announcements and stories content for press releases, public relations and company award submissions
- Create well-researched thought leadership engine for brand positioning
- Plan internal events and identify seminars and conferences for brand promotion
- Build communication calendars and brand templates for internal communication and social media campaigns
- Support internal stakeholders in identifying agency partners for employee engagement drives.
- Present weekly reports/dashboards on engagement initiatives and outcomes.
- Stay abreast of best practices in employer branding, communications and public relations
- Stay on top of cutting-edge tools and explore ways to improve brand awareness and employee engagement.
Experience and Requirements
Required Experience and Skills:
- Master\u2019s in Communication/MBA preferred
- 8 or more years of experience in a communications/employer branding and/or public relations role in an MNC/agency
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent presentation skills
High level of proficiency in MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint)
Preferred Experience and Skills:
- Understanding of HR systems and processes an added advantage
- Technical Expertise: Mastery of English language and grammar. Understands the nuances of the language and can critique, proofread, and edit content. Proficient in corporate communication frameworks and tools.
- Written and Verbal Communication : Delivers clear, effective communication and takes responsibility for understanding others. Understands complex ideas but able to simplify and explain problems and solutions in terms everyone can understand
- Ability to present ideas : Brings ideas to life through structured presentations and engaging delivery
- Creative Problem Solving: Identifies problems and uses logic, judgment, and data to ideate and evaluate alternatives and recommend solutions to achieve the desired campaign goal or outcome.
- Self-confidence : Confidently conveys their knowledge and know-how to others. Commands the respect of others through their subject matter expertise and enthusiastic approach for building brand awareness and creating a unique place for Advance Auto Parts India.
- Ability to improvise:\ Because organizations are always evolving and changing, able to foresee and implement multiple solutions.
- Excellent listening skills:\ Before solutions can be discovered, problems need to be fully understood. Carefully listens to the needs of the business to implement solutions that address our specific needs.
