Role & responsibilities
1.Candidate Sourcing and Screening: Utilize various sourcing techniques including online job boards, social media platforms, networking events, and referrals to identify qualified IT candidates. Screen resumes, conduct initial interviews, and assess candidate qualifications and fit for specific roles.
2. Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and external partners to understand staffing needs and facilitate effective communication throughout the recruitment process.
3. Market Research and Talent Mapping: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments to effectively position the organization as an employer of choice. Conduct talent mapping exercises to identify potential candidates for future needs.
4. Candidate Engagement and Experience: Provide a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process by maintaining regular communication, providing timely feedback, and addressing candidate inquiries and concerns promptly.
5. Collaboration with Hiring Managers: Partner closely with hiring managers to understand staffing requirements, develop job descriptions, and establish candidate profiles. Provide regular updates on recruitment progress and collaborate to adjust sourcing strategies as needed.
6. Documentation and Compliance: Ensure all recruitment activities are documented accurately in the applicant tracking system (ATS) and comply with company policies, legal requirements, and industry best practices.
7. Performance Metrics and Reporting: Track key recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill, candidate quality, and source effectiveness. Generate regular reports and analytics to evaluate recruitment performance and identify areas for improvement
Preferred candidate profile
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a recruiter, preferably in the IT staffing industry.
- In-depth knowledge of US IT job market trends, technologies, and skill requirements.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS), social media platforms, and other recruitment tools.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience working with remote teams and sourcing candidates across different geographic locations.
- Familiarity with technical skills assessments and interviewing techniques for IT roles.
