Role & responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning:
- Develop and implement admissions strategies for MBA & PGDM courses to achieve enrollment targets for the institution.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitor activities.
- Set short-term and long-term enrollment goals in alignment with the institutions objectives.
- Team Leadership:
- Manage and mentor the admissions team, including counselors and coordinators.
- Provide training and development to enhance team performance.
- Monitor team performance and ensure accountability for individual and team targets.
- Admissions Process Management:
- Oversee the entire admissions process for MBA & PGDM courses, ensuring efficiency and a positive experience for applicants.
- Review and refine admission policies, procedures, and documentation requirements.
- Monitor and manage the admissions pipeline using CRM tools and databases.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with the marketing team to design campaigns that attract prospective students.
- Collaborate with academic departments to align admissions criteria with program offerings.
- Build strong relationships with schools, colleges, and other educational institutions.
- Events and Outreach:
- Represent the institution at education fairs, seminars, webinars, and open house events.
- Organize campus tours, information sessions, and other promotional events.
- Develop partnerships with educational consultants, agencies, and alumni networks.
- Reporting and Analysis:
- Analyze admissions data to track performance, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Prepare regular reports on admissions activities, challenges, and achievements for senior management.
- Provide insights to improve admissions strategies and operations.
- Compliance and Standards:
- Ensure that the admissions process complies with institutional policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain confidentiality and integrity in handling applicant data.
Preferred candidate profile
- Masters degree in Business Administration, Education Management, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in admissions or education management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding enrollment targets.
- Proficiency in CRM tools, data analysis, and reporting.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
