Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Architect with 9 to 13 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in EMR Admin Hadoop Administration Shell scripting Cloudera Data Platform Impala Hive and Apache Hadoop.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of scalable data solutions using EMR Admin Hadoop Administration Shell scripting Cloudera Data Platform Impala Hive and Apache Hadoop.
• Oversee the development and maintenance of data pipelines to ensure efficient data processing and storage.
• Provide technical expertise in the optimization and tuning of Hadoop clusters to enhance performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Ensure data security and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Develop and maintain documentation for data architecture processes and best practices.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data systems to identify and resolve issues promptly.
• Implement data governance policies to ensure data quality and integrity.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and capacity planning to support future growth.
• Mentor and guide junior team members to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive innovation within the team.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on project progress and address any concerns.

Qualifications

• Possess a minimum of 9 years of experience in Hadoop Administration Shell scripting Cloudera Data Platform Impala Hive and Apache Hadoop.
• Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex data issues.
• Exhibit excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Show proficiency in optimizing and tuning Hadoop clusters for performance enhancement.
• Have a solid understanding of data security and compliance requirements.
• Display the ability to develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for data architecture and processes.
• Demonstrate experience in implementing data governance policies to ensure data quality and integrity.
