Soldering Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Soldering:
  
• Assemble PCBs by soldering components (resistors, capacitors, microchips, SMD devices) accurately.
• Perform micro soldering, BGA QFM, and reballing processes.
• Testing & Troubleshooting:
  
• Use tools like oscilloscopes and multimeters to test connections and diagnose issues.
• Inspect assemblies for defects such as cold solder joints and solder bridges, and rework as necessary.
• Documentation & Maintenance:
  
• Read schematics, PCB layouts, and component packages to ensure proper assembly.
• Maintain and calibrate soldering equipment and adhere to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Technical Skills:
  
• Expertise in various soldering techniques including SMD, micro soldering, and BGA operations.
• Proficient with debugging tools and interpreting technical diagrams.
• Experience & Education:
  
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or an associate degree in electronics is preferred.
• Prior experience in soldering or electronic assembly is a plus.
• Soft Skills:
  
• Exceptional attention to detail and manual dexterity.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
