Design Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Design and Drafting:
• Utilize AutoCAD software to create detailed 2D and 3D engineering drawings.
• Develop innovative and efficient mechanical designs for various components
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, client specifications, and manufacturing constraints.
• Conduct design reviews and collaborate with production and quality teams to optimize designs.
• Quotation / Estimation:
• Analyze customer requirements and specifications to accurately estimate project costs.
• Consider factors such as material costs, labor hours, manufacturing processes, and overhead expenses.
• Develop detailed cost breakdowns and provide comprehensive cost reports.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and propose alternative design solutions.
• Technical Analysis:
• Perform engineering calculations and simulations to validate designs and ensure structural integrity.
• Troubleshoot design issues and implement corrective actions.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement.
• Support :
• Coordinate with production team to ensure smooth production processes.
• Provide technical support to production team as needed.
