Solidworks Design/Drafting Engineer

A Solid-works Engineer shall be responsible to work on Engineering Projects and carry out drafting, modelling, and detail engineering.

The position shall report to Deputy Manager - Engineering.

Deliverables:

- Preparing 3D model for parts, pipe routing & support using solid works software.

- Preparing 2D detail drawings for machined components, assembly drawing.

- Create Drawings and issued it in PDM (Product Data Management).

- Create BOM in SAP with part coding system.

- Compliance to Armstrong Quality standards.

Key Skills:

- Should have clear understating on how to prepare detail drawings for manufacturing, customer drawings & special process drawings.

- Proficient in using solid works tools to deliver drawing with short turnaround time.

- Bare minimum knowledge on Piping material and reference standards for flanges, fitting, and valves.

Desired skills:

- Product Data management (PDM), ECN management process, workflow process.

- Drawing control & release process.

- SAP or IFS software usage for ERP.

- Should have working experience related to Valve industry Engineering department.

Education: Mechanical Engineering Graduate

Experience: 3+ years of relevant experience in design engineering for various components & assemblies.
