Database Administrator / Backend Developer

Preferred candidate profile :

We are seeking a versatile Database Administrator (DBA) with 2+ years of experience in

the healthcare domain to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on

expertise in managing and configuring databases like MS SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and

Oracle DB, along with a strong understanding of backend technologies web APIs, WCF services, and microservices architecture. This role requires a deep commitment to data integrity,

performance optimization, and security compliance within the healthcare environment.

Role & responsibilities :

• Database Administration: Install, configure, monitor, and maintain database

systems such as MS SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Oracle DB for healthcare

applications.

• Web API and WCF Services: Create and configure web APIs and WCF services to

facilitate seamless communication between applications and databases.

• Database Optimization: Tune databases for optimal performance, including

indexing, query optimization, and resource utilization.

• Microservices Integration: Work on database provisioning and management within

a microservices architecture, ensuring high availability and scalability.

• Development Support: Creating efficient queries, stored

procedures, and class libraries for accessing and managing database operations and will be used by frontend developers.

• Data Security and Compliance: Implement robust security protocols and ensure

compliance with healthcare regulations, such as HIPAA and GDPR.

• Backup and Recovery: Establish and manage backup and recovery procedures to

minimize data loss and downtime.

• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive technical documentation for database

schemas, configurations, APIs, and service setups.

Key Skill :

• Proficient in MS SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Oracle DB administration.
• Strong understanding of .Net Core web API creation and WCF services (C# , Datatable , Dataset) configuration.
• Experience in developing and managing Class Libraries for database interactions.
• Knowledge of database providers such as SQL, Oracle, and PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and database management in

microservices environments.

• Experience with tools for database monitoring and optimization.
