Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Business Development professional to help identify and secure new business opportunities. Responsibilities include supporting lead generation, converting leads into clients, preparing sales proposals and presentations, conducting market research, generating reports, and managing client communications. Job Description:

  1. Acquire new education institutes, colleges and universities for college/university management software and IT consulting.
  2. Achieve the sales targets by account mining for additional business through continuous client engagement.
  3. Effective assessment of client needs and propose customized software solutions that best address those needs
  4. Develop a good understanding of colleges/university workings , software usage and their pain points.
  5. Manage the entire sales cycle and servicing standard for the clients to ensure delivery of the committed outcomes in the initial proposal
  6. Monitor the solution implementation process, analyze the performance and take corrective action along with seniors based on the analysis
  7. Develop multi-level relationships with key stakeholders in the client organizations, such as Marketing Heads, Chairmen, Vice chancellors, Deans, and Directors
  8. Follow up for payments and ensure timely collections
  9. Support lead generation, converting leads into clients, preparing sales proposals and presentations, conducting market research, generating reports, and managing client communications.
  10. Assist with organizing meetings, managing calendars, preparing reports, and coordinating follow-ups.

Required Skills:

  1. Business development and prior experience of client acquisition
  2. Strong communication and negotiation skills
  3. Time Management to ensure service level commitments
  4. Presentation and demonstration skills
  5. Fast learner and committed to learn and apply
  6. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data.
  7. Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and eager to learn

Desired Skills:

Sales experience preferably with the digital / software / SaaS / LMS industry and Knowledge of education domain
