Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Director - Digital Sales to lead our digital sales efforts and drive revenue growth across our digital platforms. This role is crucial in expanding our digital presence and enhancing our sales strategies, leveraging both data-driven insights and innovative sales techniques. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital sales, customer acquisition strategies, and a proven track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets in the EdTech or technology sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and execute digital sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets. Lead digital sales initiatives to drive growth across various channels.
- Customer Acquisition: Design and implement strategies for customer acquisition through online channels such as Google, Facebook, Instagram, and other digital platforms. Deeply understand audience segmentation, targeting, and the optimization of acquisition costs.
- Conversion Funnel Optimization: Have a solid understanding of the customer journey and conversion funnel. Drive initiatives to maximize conversion rates, from lead generation to final purchase, through data-driven insights and A/B testing.
- Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing digital sales team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability. Empower the team to exceed targets through regular coaching and support.
- Digital Transformation: Implement innovative digital sales strategies to maximize online conversions, engagement, and retention across our platforms.
- Revenue Optimization: Drive pricing, promotions, and cross-sell/upsell initiatives to optimize revenue from digital sales channels.
- Market Analysis & Customer Insights: Use data analytics and customer insights to identify new opportunities, optimize customer acquisition and retention strategies, and refine target audiences.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Product, Marketing, and Content teams to ensure alignment on product launches, campaigns, and content strategy to drive sales.
- Performance Tracking: Develop KPIs, track performance metrics, and generate regular reports to monitor and optimize digital sales performance.
Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA is preferred.
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in digital sales, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Experience in EdTech or digital product sales is highly preferred.
- Customer Acquisition Expertise: Proven experience in customer acquisition through major online channels, including Google, Facebook, and Instagram. Strong knowledge of digital advertising and campaign optimization to drive cost-effective acquisitions.
- Conversion Funnel Insight: Deep understanding of conversion funnels, customer behavior, and journey optimization, with hands-on experience in improving conversion rates at various stages of the funnel.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in CRM tools, analytics platforms, and other sales tools. Familiarity with digital marketing and e-commerce is a plus.
- Leadership: Proven experience in leading and motivating high-performance digital sales teams, with strong interpersonal and coaching skills.
- Analytical Ability: Strong analytical mindset, with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
- Customer-Centric: Passionate about delivering value to students and customers, with a commitment to understanding and fulfilling their needs.
