BMS Engineer - Datacenter

Role & responsibilities

• BE Electronics/Instrumentation or Diploma from GOI recognized and approved institute
• 4+ years relevant BMS/Automation industry experience ​for BE & 6+ years of relevant experience for diploma candidates
• Experience interpreting blueprints/CAD drawings layouts, System architecture , PID drawings, Logic charts​,ckt drawings, SLDs, etc
• Significant experience in comprehending BMS/Automation plans, specifications, and equipment shop drawings​.
• Working knowledge SCADA, PID, PLC, Logics, Integration, BMS protocols and trouble shooting​
• Working knowledge of critical facility operations with experience or understanding of procedure-based work​
• Working knowledge of Firefighting such as GSS, Sprinkler, mist, fog systems and alarm systems ​
• Experience working in a highly collaborative, cross-functional environment with applicable NFPA,IS and land laws related to firefighting ,extinguishing system ​building codes, ECBC etc
• Experience of working within a Project Environment and dealing with design and construction engineering professionals.​
• Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate intelligently and effectively with the client and with contractors, customers who perform maintenance or upgrade work on the data centre systems.​
• Computer literate with the ability to compile and submit monthly and annual reports, and to monitor and trend operational characteristics (load, capacity, environmental conditions etc).​
• Strong and committed team player with excellent communication and coaching skills. Previous experience of supervising highly qualified Technicians and reporting to peers and senior managers.​
• Willingness to work outside of normal hours to resolve technical issues in a 24/7 industry.​
• Ability to remotely/On call support to the operations team on trouble shooting of BMS.SCADA systems.
