Job Objective

The incumbent will be responsible for the end-end supervision and co-ordination of site safety work during construction activities to ensure Adani project safety manual, guidelines, rules and regulations are implemented & project is completed with zero accident.

Roles and Responsibilities

Strategic Roles & Responsibilities

Supervision and Co-ordination of all construction and commissioning activities through highest level of implementation of safety procedures

1. Ensure accident-free execution of project related activities

2. Ensure implementation of highest standards of HSE

3. Work with Site Head to carry out daily safety observation tours and Safety risk field audits

4. Ensure implementation of Group & BU specific Project safety requirements

5. Prepare Daily, weekly, monthly and yearly site dashboard and report back to BU Safety head & Site head

6. Conduct safety tour, Safety interaction and Safety risk field audit at periodic intervals and ensure their corrections within stipulated time frames

7. Attending Toolbox talks (TBT) conducted by contractors. Also organize TBTs for project teams

8. Coordinate with site team for organizing site safety meeting and ensure completion of all open/pending observations

9. Review all contractor documents such as HSE plan, Method statements, JSA, HIRA, SOPs or work instructions and provide inputs for correction to ensure safe execution of all activities

10. Organize EHS Induction training, job specific safety training and awareness session for site teams and witness contractor EHS training to evaluate effectiveness

11. Ensure compliance to PTW & LOTO requirements.

12. Ensure compliance of all applicable legal compliances pertaining to EHS

Operational Responsibilities

1. Read and review project EHS documents

2. Review and approve PTWs

3. Review and approve Lifting plans

4. Prepare EHS dashboard

5. Conduct TBT

6. Organize monthly safety meetings

7. Organize mock drills

8. Organize Safety training and awareness sessions / develop modules

People Management

1. Supervise and manage the Contractual Workers.

2. Collaboration with vendors and contractors,

3. Collaboration with Project head and Project team

4. Work in close coordination with BU Safety team

Job Profile

Educational Qualification:

Mandatory:

B.E/ B-Tech in any Engineering branch (Electrical engineers preferable) or

BSC in Physics, Chemistry or Fire safety

+

Preference (Not mandatory):

Post diploma in Industrial safety or NEBOSH IGC or NEBOSH Diploma

Experiences:

Minimum 7-13 years of HSE experience in HIGH RISE BUILDINGS , RESEDENTIAL , COMMERCIAL BUILDINGS, TOWNSHIPS
