Experience
- 15-20 years of experience in data center operations
- B.E. in Mechanical or Electrical engineering
- Lead and manage all aspects of data center operations, ensuring continuous uptime and efficient performance
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize data center processes and procedures
- Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of data center equipment and infrastructure
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to address technical issues and ensure seamless data center operations
- Manage and mentor a team of data center technicians and engineers
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify opportunities for improvement
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with data center customers, addressing their needs and ensuring high satisfaction levels
- Collaborate with senior management to align data center operations with business objectives and future growth plans
- Adhere to industry best practices, standards, and compliance requirements
- B.E. in Mechanical or Electrical engineering
- Certification in Data Center Operations or related field (preferred)
- Exceptional leadership and decision-making capabilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Adaptability and resilience in the face of challenges
- Thorough understanding of data center infrastructure and systems
- Proficiency in data center management tools and software
- In-depth knowledge of cooling, power distribution, and environmental monitoring systems in data centers
- Familiarity with industry standards such as Uptime Institute Tier Certification and TIA-942
- Experience in implementing and managing data center security protocols
- Ability to conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive maintenance strategies
