Job Description
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in operations, preferably in the petrochemical industry
- Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the VCM plant, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and production targets
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize plant performance and troubleshoot any operational issues
- Implement preventive maintenance schedules and coordinate with the maintenance team for equipment upkeep
- Monitor process parameters and take necessary actions to maintain product quality and efficiency
- Lead and mentor a team of operators and technicians, providing guidance and support for continuous improvement
- Drive initiatives for cost reduction, energy efficiency, and waste minimization in line with sustainability goals
- Prepare operational reports, analyze KPIs, and recommend strategies for enhancing productivity
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and contribute to the development of operational procedures
