Senior Manager in Business Excellence

Role & responsibilities

• Support and participate in the institutionalization and rolling out BE in the identified business
• Drive passionately, creatively & rigorously the BE awareness culture across spectrum of Organization in terms of IMS, 5S, SPC, Lean, Six Sigma, QCs, Malcolm Baldrige & Adani Business Excellence Management.
• Co-ordinate the ABEM training programs in the respective business to enhance framework understanding in progressive way
• Support Capability building within business for BE framework & BE initiatives deployment
• Mentoring of Six Sigma (Black Belt & Green Belt)and Improvement Projects with the respective project teams to ensure timely closure
• Conduct YB trainings and Team workshops on Six Sigma tools
• Six Sigma co-ordination activities and tracking of all the projects
• Guide and support Project Teams on Statistical tools using Minitab

Preferred candidate profile

• GB and BB Projects Mentoring experience. Should have completed minimum 5 GB and 2 BB project as Leader.
• Analyze KPIs using statistical methods / tools such as Microsoft Excel etc. Analyze defect data and devise a corrective and preventive action plan using RCA principles
• Allies with team leads/Managers to drive Black Belt, Green Belt & Improvements projects.
• Building and developing team competencies on Quality Management Systems, Lean Six Sigma(DMAIC/DFSS/LEAN) and Project management
• Lead Kaizen workouts to eliminate Muda and reduce cycle time. Improve the process efficiency and drive towards business excellence.
• Conduct training/coaching to leaders & operators to improve performance
• Leading, coordinating and facilitating to ensure improvement of QMS practices and adherence to internal & external audit requirements for ISO initiative.
• Engaging with stakeholders to ensure Business Excellence initiatives are effectively deployed and recognized.
• Maintain the Communication channel to units/Sites - Quality Managers/Plant Heads / Project Managers / Functional Managers to meet their expectations on continuous improvement.
• Experience on initiatives of various internal improvements like Kaizen and implementation at manufacturing level towards safety/Productivity and cost reduction
• Knowledge on Crystalline Silicon Wafer Manufacturing process. Experience in cell and module production process will be an added advantage• Knowledge of ISO- Standards and procedures and Basic Safety Knowledge (Fire-safety, Waste Management, etc)
• Good communication and Presentation skills
• Six Sigma consulting experience would be an advantage
• Expert level of Experience in Minitab
• Exposure to Predictive analytics and AI/ML would be preferred

• Educational Qualification: BE/B.Tech
• Desired Qualification: Bachelor/Masters in Mechanical/Electrical Engg. / Operational Engg/Production Engg
• Experience: : Min. 15 - 20 years , Black Belt certified Professional
