We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead the growth of our AI and Analytics business in India while leveraging their global network to bring in clients from other geographies.
The ideal candidate will focus on selling Staff Augmentation, AI/ML, Generative AI solutions powered by AWS, and traditional Analytics/BIsolutions.
This role is critical for expanding our footprint in India, especially targeting GCCs (Global Capability Centers) and similar organizations.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development & Sales Strategy:
- Develop and execute a sales strategy to grow the AI/Analytics business in India, with a focus on staff augmentation for GCCs and other enterprises.
- Identify opportunities for Staff Augmentation, AI/ML, Gen AI solutions powered by AWS, and BI/Reporting solutions.
- Special focus to sell AI , Computer vision Solutions to different industries.
- Leverage existing global contacts to bring in international clients and establish multi-geography relationships.
Client Acquisition & Relationship Management:.
- Build and nurture relationships with decision-makers in target industries.
- Act as a trusted advisor, understanding client needs and recommending tailored AI/Analytics solutions.
- Drive the end-to-end sales process, including lead generation, proposal creation, contract negotiation, and deal closure.
Sales Targets & Reporting:
- Achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets.
- Maintain a robust pipeline and provide accurate forecasts to management.
- Regularly report progress, challenges, and key wins to stakeholders.
Product Expertise & Collaboration:
- Stay up to date on the latest trends in AI/ML, Generative AI, AWS-powered solutions, and BI/Reporting tools.
- Collaborate with technical teams to create impactful demos and POCs (Proof of Concepts) for clients.
- Provide market insights to influence product development and offerings.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- An MBA is a plus.
- Experience: 10+ years in sales, with a proven track record of selling, AI/Analytics solutions, or Staff Augmentation services.
Domain Expertise:
- Strong understanding of AI/ML, Generative AI, AWS cloud solutions, and traditional Analytics/BI tools.
- Familiarity with Staff Augmentation business models and client needs.
- Client Relationships: Established network within medium, large enterprises, and other relevant industries.
- Start operations with low hanging fruits and acquire logos.
Skills:
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to understand technical solutions and align them with business needs.
- Self-starter with a growth mindset and the ability to work independently.
Preferred Qualifications:.
- Experience working in a startup or fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated success in bringing in clients from international geographies.
- Knowledge of competitive AI/Analytics tools and solutions in the Indian and global markets.
