Senior Technology Sourcing Specialist

We are looking for:

A proactive and results-driven Talent Sourcing Specialist to join our dynamic Talent Acquisition team in Chennai and spearhead the initial phase of our recruitment process.  The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and engaging top talent for various roles within the company through social media platforms, job boards and professional networks while promoting our employer brand. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and a passion for finding the best talent in the market.

What you will do:

•  Candidate Sourcing: Utilize various sourcing methods such as job boards, social media, and professional networks to identify potential candidates
• Craft and send engaging recruiting emails to passive candidates
• Screening and Assessment: Conduct initial candidate screenings and assess qualifications, experience, and cultural fit.
• Talent Pipeline: Build and maintain a pipeline of potential candidates for current and future hiring needs
• Collaboration: Work closely with recruiters and hiring managers to understand job requirements and develop effective sourcing strategies.
• Market Research: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and market conditions to provide insights and recommendations for sourcing strategies.
• Employer Branding: Promote ACV Auctions as an employer of choice through social media and other channels.
• Database Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate information in the applicant tracking system (ATS)
• Measure conversion rates, including numbers of passive candidates who turn into applicants, get invited to interviews, receive offers and are hired
• Communicate with past applicants regarding new job opportunities

Requirements and skills

• 5 + years experience as a Talent Sourcing Specialist with Engineering and Product sourcing discipline

• Hands-on experience and proven success with sourcing techniques (e.g. recruiting on social platforms (LinkedIn, Naukri, Indeed etc and crafting Boolean search strings, job boards and professional networks

• Familiarity with HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATSs) and Candidate Management Systems (CMSs)

• Solid verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to positively present our company and open roles to potential candidates

• Effective time-management and organizational skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Ability to work in office 3 days a week
• Open to working overlap time in EST time zone 
• Ability to read, write and speak English
