Manager - Finance (7-12 yrs)

Key Responsibilities:

- Analyze and understand the payment aggregator business and RBI regulatory requirements related to escrow management.

- Gain in-depth knowledge of current systems and processes, including fund flow, escrow setup, receipt of funds, merchant payments, and reconciliation.

- Collaborate with Product and Technology teams to evaluate existing systems and build new ones, ensuring efficient and compliant fund management.

- Oversee daily receipt of funds, ensuring proper assignment to respective systems and timely reconciliation.

- Monitor the closure of assigned funds within the agreed turnaround time (TAT) and ensure accurate and timely accounting entries.

- Resolve any discrepancies in payouts promptly and ensure smooth merchant settlements.

Reconcile escrow system balances with accounting systems and other related systems, ensuring accurate records for regulatory reporting.

Develop and implement efficient, standardized workflows to streamline reconciliation processes and improve overall team efficiency.

Skills:

- In-depth understanding of transaction reconciliation, merchant settlement, refunds, and payment aggregator processes.

- Strong system and process knowledge, particularly related to fund flow, escrow management, and reconciliation.

- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to analyze and report data effectively.

- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve discrepancies promptly.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective coordination with internal teams and stakeholders.

- Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and drive improvements.

- Proven ability to build strong working relationships across cross-functional teams (Product, Business, Technology, Operations).

- Experience with regulatory reporting and maintaining compliance with financial and escrow requirements.
