The Senior System Administrator will collaborate with the IT Manager to effectively
manage the IT systems and infrastructure. This role involves managing processes and
utilizing technology to monitor system performance, provide technical support, and
ensure the stability and availability of the organizations IT infrastructure. The System
Administrator will ensure adherence to high standards of system performance and
reliability, handling regular maintenance for both external and internal environments.
The ideal System Administrator should possess a positive attitude, embrace change,
excel as a team player, be organized, and have a solid background in IT systems
administration and support.
As an integral part of the Infrastructure team, the desired candidate will have the
following responsibilities:
Project Collaboration:
IT Support & Solution Delivery:
integration and deployment.
Network Infrastructure Management:

Job Qualifications
1. Proficient in Linux, MS Windows, and Apple Mac system administration.
2. Strong leadership and team organization skills.
3. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
4. High standards for consistency and quality.
5. Flexibility with work hours.
6. Willingness to obtain relevant industry certifications.
7. Familiarity with PCI compliance standards.
8. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Required Education and Experience
1. Bachelors in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2. 5+ years of experience in system administration, with proficiency in Linux, MS
Windows, and Apple Mac environments.
3. Experience in network management: LAN/WAN, switches/routers/ firewalls.
4. Strong background in IT security and compliance standards.
5. Demonstrated ability to lead projects and manage teams.
Preferred Education and Experience
1. Masters in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2. 7+ years of experience in system administration and IT security.
3. Experience with Splunk, AWS, iptables, openvas, syslog, and Puppet.
4. Advanced knowledge of Python and/or BASH.
5. Familiarity with Jira/Confluence, Jump Cloud, MFA platforms, and Web APIs.
6. Experience with Windows Server management (Active Directory/Group Policy).
7. Identifying, optimizing, and automating recurring departmental processes.
8. Security certifications such as CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Network+ / Security+, and
PCI Security Standards Council certifications.
9. Industry certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Cisco CCNA, Microsoft
Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA), or similar.
10. Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
