Job Description
- Engineering Procurement:
- Collaborate with project teams to define engineering requirements and specifications.
- Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely procurement of construction materials and equipment.
- Conduct cost analysis to optimize procurement processes while maintaining quality standards.
- Construction Site Management:
- Oversee and manage day-to-day operations on construction sites to ensure adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
- Coordinate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to ensure smooth workflow and effective communication.
- Monitor and enforce safety protocols to create a secure working environment.
- Quality Control:
- Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
- Conduct regular inspections and address any issues that may affect the quality and safety of the construction project.
- Budget Management:
- Assist in the development and monitoring of project budgets, providing input on cost estimates and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Track project expenditures and report on budgetary performance regularly.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including engineering drawings, procurement records, and construction site reports.
- Prepare regular progress reports and communicate project status to relevant stakeholders.
Qualification & Eligibility:
- Bachelor/Masters degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience in engineering procurement and construction site management, with a minimum of [2-5 years] in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction materials, and industry best practices.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
