Software Test Engineer

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Test Engineer to join our team. The Test Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing test plans to ensure the quality and performance of our software products. The ideal candidate has a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for ensuring seamless user experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and scripts for both manual and automated testing.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand product requirements and features.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, security and performance testing.
• Identify, document, and track software defects to closure.
• Work closely with developers to debug and troubleshoot issues.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, JUnit, or equivalent.
• Continuously improve testing processes and frameworks to enhance product quality.

Requirements

• Proven experience with test automation tools and frameworks.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in software testing or a related field.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C#).
• Familiarity with testing tools like Selenium, JMeter, Appium, or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
• Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman or SoapUI.
