Territory Account Manager


Position Overview:
We are looking for a proactive and talented individual to join our team as an Opportunity Identification Specialist. In this role, you will speak with potential clients during initial (L1) calls to understand their needs, assess their interest, and identify business opportunities. The right candidate will have excellent communication skills, a good understanding of business, and the ability to ask the right questions to uncover challenges and offer valuable solutions.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Initial Engagement:
    • Conduct L1 calls with prospects to introduce the companys services and understand their high-level needs.
    • Build rapport and establish trust to ensure effective communication during calls.
  2. Needs Analysis:
    • Ask insightful questions to uncover the client’s challenges, goals, and priorities.
    • Identify pain points related to specific business areas like IT consulting, application modernization, analytics, cloud solutions, or other relevant services.
  3. Opportunity Qualification:
    • Use frameworks like BANT (Budget, Authority, Need, and Timeline) to qualify leads and evaluate the potential for further engagement.
    • Record detailed notes on the prospect’s needs and share them with relevant sales or solution teams.
  4. Collaboration:
  • Maintaining the relationship with prospects, meeting in-person, building trust and being able to drive deals till closure.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, IT, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • 6-10 years of experience in sales, business development, or lead qualification roles, preferably in IT or consulting industries.

  • Skills:
    • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
    • Ability to quickly understand technical concepts and explain them to non-technical audiences.
    • Familiarity with CRM systems and lead qualifications.
  • Knowledge of IT services, digital transformation, or related industries.
  • Experience using lead qualification frameworks like BANT, CHAMP, or MEDDIC.
  • Proficiency in tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, LinkedIn sales navigator or similar platforms.
