SQL Server DBA

The Database Administrator will join our IT Operations Team to help tune and maintain our SQL Server environment.
Job duties will include performance tuning, performing upgrades, applying patches, maintaining several SQL Server instances and maintaining a high availability cluster.
The DBA will work closely with developers to help identify poorly performing queries and offer suggestions on how to improve performance.
The DBA will also work with the IT Operations Team to help coordinate and promote development changes into production.

Essential Responsibilities:

Scheduling jobs and job monitoring
Performance tuning
Troubleshooting issues
Performing SQL Server upgrades, applying patches, and monitoring status
Helping to promote development changes into production
Manage user and role level security.

Requirements

SQl server installations

-aware of All Backup jobs.

Full,Differential and T-Log Backups

and Create Backup jobs in maintanceplan

-Configuration Transaction Replication

-Linked server creation

-login creation and and map the suitable access

-DB Mail creation

-Backups and Restoration

-Aware of index's
