Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced SAP BI Engineer to join our team. You will play a key role in creating enhancing queries workbooks.

Qualifications
At least 5 years relevant experience in BI and Reporting or similar background and working in this position for more than 1 year - proven track record of successful project implementations.
Extensive knowledge of SAP BW architecture, data modelling, and ETL processes -
Advanced experience with SAP BW (BW on HANA, BW4HANA),
SAP BO
Analysis for Office
HANA Data Modelling
SAP DataServices/Data Intelligence Cloud dataflows, workflows and jobs
SAP BW certification is a plus
Excellent ABAP skills - experience in ABAP Managed Database Procedures (AMDP), development troubleshooting of user exits, function modules and start/end/expert routines.
Good knowledge in SQL
Experience SAP Note implementation
Expertise in configuration and installation of SAP BW Business Content
Expertise configuration enhancement of Generic and Business Content Extractors by functional area
Experience with hybrid architecture (non SAP)
Optimization of reports and data loads performance
Experience with Authorization Concepts Development
Experience with Datasphere, SAC (+planning), BI-IP is desirable
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues
Experience of working in an agile environment
Excellent teamwork, communication skills and work independently with minimal supervision
Excellent English skills

Responsibilities
Manage the SAP BW, SAP HANA, SAP BO applications and the system itself from the application perspective
Create/enhance queries workbooks
Activate, configure and enhance Generic and Business Content Extractors by functional area
Adopt data modelling data flow design best practices to develop robust scalable solutions
Optimize reporting and data load performance through query monitoring tool, Indexes, Partitioning and Statistics
Develop Calculation Views (graphical SQL script based), build aDSOs, Composite Providers
Develop ABAP/AMDP programs including user exits, function modules and start/end/expert routines
Take care of 1st level support including monitoring (Dataloads within SAP BW, SAP DataServices/Data Intelligence Cloud) for SAP BI solutions
Check and implement SAP notes
Work with other BI engineers in the development, implementation, and support with query enhancements
Coordinate with other development teams
Advice BI Team members in the area of expertise
Train, mentor and coach non-senior team members to advance in their careers
Train stakeholders on inner workings without losing focus on the big picture to develop customized solutions
Lead technology focus groups and conduct knowledge sharing sessions
Work independently with minimal supervision.
