Field Engineer - CNC Machine ladder Logic development

Role & responsibilities

• Development of new logic in CNC machines with FANUC or Siemens controllers as per the need of AmiT solutions
• Testing and provid the developed logic before sharing for deployment
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for logic -related issues to deployment team.
• Diagnose and resolve technical problems with CNC logic.
• Develop and maintain documentation including I/Os, Drawingsfor CNC logic (previous and after modification).
• Train new engineers for logic modification
• Learn new CNC controllers and new Logic methods continuosly

Preferred candidate profile

• Expert in FANUC CNC ladder logic Development and deployment
• Basic experiance of Hands on Siemens 828 Ladder logic development .
• Basic knowledge of MItsubishi CNC ladder logic development.
• KNowledge of PLC programming will be an added advantage.
• Basic understanding of CNC hardware (INcluding Drive, I/O cards, Communications (RS232, TCP/IP, RS485).
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with teams and providing end-user support.
