Job Description
As a Power System Study Engineer, candidate will play key role in supporting and performing engineering and simulation studies associated with our innovative solutions in the power sector.
Responsibilities: - Should have knowledge of basic power system of Industrial and Utilities.
- Should have knowledge of application of various components of Power system.
- Must have knowledge of different make, model, and application of protection relays.
- Must be acquainted with Power flow Study, Short Circuit Analysis, Protective relay settings calculation, Protection Co-ordination, Transient Analysis, Motor Starting and Acceleration Study, Arc Flash Analysis and Harmonic Analysis.
- Experienced with various Power system simulation tools such as ETAP, DigSILENT, PSCAD, PSS/E and/or other similar software.
- Must have knowledge of various National and international standards.
- Must be capable of working independently on assigned projects.
- Must be able to process Raw data in usable technical data.
- Must have single handedly worked on 8-10 similar projects.
- Must have ability to write reports based on observation and results.
- Should have good analytical and problem-solving skill.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide technical support for the Power system studies and its solutions.
- Work closely with project managers to meet project milestones and deliverables.
- Provide technical documentation support for client deliverables and internal knowledge sharing.
- Engage with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders to address technical queries and provide support as needed.
- Participate in regular meetings and project reviews to ensure alignment with project goals.
- Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering and/or Master s Degree in Power System.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in relevant field.
