Job Description
We are seeking a Power Quality Technical Trainer to join our Engineering team. This role requires a strong background in electrical engineering and expertise in providing Power system & power quality solutions. This position requires sound technical know-how, fun in learning and teaching as well as a confident appearance. Furthermore, we rely on your ideas for the steady development of our coaching tools and concepts.
Your Responsibilities:
- You are responsible for the design, preparation, and implementation of the training for our customer, Engineering, Marketing and our service engineers.
- You will conduct customer training, either in the classroom or on site.
- Furthermore, your job includes the further development of the course content and training materials
- You will work with field service, product managers, development, and customer support to improve training, training material and our tools and processes.
- Additionally, you will implement new training methods like simulation tools, improve our certification concept and develop e-learning modules and hands-on lessons.
- Monitor training quality and adapt the course execution based on results of review sessions and/or participants feedback.
- Living Hitachi Energy s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.
Your background:
- Bachelor s or master s degree in electrical engineering, specialization in Power Quality is preferred.
- 8 to 10 years of working experience as a technical trainer or any similar position.
- Strong analytical skills and a structured approach with attention to details.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, proficiency in English both written and verbal, particularly with respect to explaining technical matters.
