Role & responsibilities

• You'll be responsible for bringing the new business in the company
• Assist in identifying and bringing new business opportunities to the company.
• Work with various business areas, including Property, Fire, Marine, Motor, Health, Liability, SME Business, Film Insurance, and corporate products.
• Help define target audiences and suggest strategies to expand the company's reach.
• Support the team in setting goals based on company revenue targets and projected budgets.
• Contribute to sales and brand awareness efforts by participating in events and marketing initiatives that attract new customers and engage existing ones.
• Keep an eye on industry trends in insurance and marketing, sharing relevant information with the team when needed. Proactively monitor emerging trends within the insurance and marketing industry, flagging relevant reports to managers, as needed
• Collaborate with team members to develop and implement marketing strategies aimed at growing the companys business.
• Assist in maintaining and updating customer databases to ensure accurate records and effective communication.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to improve overall business development and marketing efforts.

Preferred candidate profile

• Any Graduate / Freshers can apply (bachelors degree in marketing, Bcom Hons, MCom, Communications, Advertising, or any related field)
• Strong interest in business development and a desire to build a career in the insurance industry (Property, Fire, Marine, Motor, Health, Liability).
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office programs, including Word and Excel.
• Good organizational skills and the ability to manage tasks effectively.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly.
• Willingness to learn and a proactive attitude toward developing professional skills.
