Area of Responsibility Description of Responsibility Safety Health and Environment To implement a company wide SHE management system. To provide strategic leadership, communications and guidance - aligned with the Business Plan and SHE Policy. To provide a score card of overall SHE performance at the plant lelvel and also at the organisational level. To ensure that appropriate procedures and activities are in place to achieve and maintain SHE compliance. To develop and lead an SHE support network to assist each Functional HOD based on their functional SHE Trend (Lagging). To Review the status of on-going functional initiatives/programs intiated thorugh SHE Notifications. To evaluate the effectiveness of the plan and make recommendations for continual improvement. To identify, understand, recommend and comply with the already enforced and newly notified SHE rules and regulation - identified through different sources (SHEEL Subscription is our service provider) To prepare, review and getting approval for necessary human resource and financial resources to administer the SHE Plan. To provide guidance to the Plant Engineer - SHE. To report or escalate the related internal and external communications to the management. To identify of SHE related gaps in the operations and accordingly recommending the necessary actions. To review of injury reports, incident investigation reports, Root Cause Analysis and actions taken to mitigate the risk for avoid the reoccurence of similar incidents. To perform Critical Machine / Process Safety Assessement (FMEA) To develop Onsite Emergency Response Plan, Implementation of Plan and formation of Emergency Reponse Team. To promote formation of SHE Committee and act as adviser and also as catalyst in the activities of committee To design and conduct trainings through training dept. for educating members for the prevention of personal injuries. To develop EMP, RMP, OPL, SCS, ECS, WI and other control process documents to manage the Enironmental & OHS Risks. To develop periodical medical examinations packages required for the different processes/actvities with help of company doctor and conducting same as per the schedule. To study and develop process hazards to recommend suitable Personal Protective Equipments. To plan safety inspections across all the plants as per the calender. Maintaining of Form 8 - Labelling of Containers as Analysis Report / HWA Category under Hazardous Waste Management Rules. Maintaining of Form 9 - TREM Card under Hazardous Waste Management Rules. Maintaining of Form 10 - Manifest under Hazardous Waste Management Rules.
