Job Summary:
We are seeking a driven and motivated engineer who can effectively support our SCM team
to build automation solutions to be deployed across manufacturing industries like
automotive, foundry, packaged consumer goods, pharmaceuticals, heavy engineering,
locomotives, construction equipment, etc., using technical and analytical skills.
You will be a member of our SCM team co-crafting innovative automation systems and
solutions. To excel in this role, you should have good understanding of sheet metal
fabrication, machining process, GD & T and inspection processes. Experience in industrial
automation systems/elements like sourcing industrial robots, PLC, sensors, pneumatics,
electrical switchgear items, etc. is necessary. You will be required to create tracking sheets,
reports, templates and costing sheets related to SCM functions.

Requirements:

At least 2 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or vendor management
within the industrial automation or a related industry

In-depth understanding of the industrial automation sector, including knowledge of
key suppliers, market trends, and technological advancements
Strong ability to identify, evaluate, and select suppliers
Ability to analyze cost structures, market trends, and supplier performance data
Strong problem-solving skills to address supply chain issues

Experience in managing projects and coordinating cross-functional teams
Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
Knowledge of quality standards and the ability to ensure suppliers meet these
standards

Experience in identifying and mitigating risks in the supply chain
Ability to develop contingency plans to address potential disruptions
Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and organizational needs
Good listening, communication & presentation skills. Proficiency in English language
is important.

Teamwork and leadership skills.
Prioritize the work among competing priorities
Project related travel: Up to 50% of the time. Two-wheeler with Driving License is a must
for this position
